Café Fina, Monday [Nov 12]

Last week hadn't been bad, really. Cassandra still wasn't entirely sure what all she was supposed to do at Fina, but she was actually starting to think that this might be something she could learn to do. That made her grin.

Last week she had pretty much exhausted her knowledge of desserts for specials, so this week she wandered back to the kitchen to talk sugary things. After a quick tour, and a few samples, she nodded to herself and got the specials board down to note today's.

Yes, he just offered to pay for her meal...that may or may not be free as part of her working there. Awww, he's such a gentleman. He even took the bag off!

Leo had left his shop closed that day for Veteran's Day, and decided to come out for a nice meal to celebrate.

Cassandra simply nodded and headed back to the kitchen to work out a good choice. Then she came back to sit down, "Shouldn't be too long then."

And she fell silent.
