Café Fina, Monday [Nov 12]

Last week hadn't been bad, really. Cassandra still wasn't entirely sure what all she was supposed to do at Fina, but she was actually starting to think that this might be something she could learn to do. That made her grin.

Last week she had pretty much exhausted her knowledge of desserts for specials, so this week she wandered back to the kitchen to talk sugary things. After a quick tour, and a few samples, she nodded to herself and got the specials board down to note today's.

Today's Special

Another Monday with Fina open.

Jack wandered in after his class wearing a bag on his head, looking for Cassandra.

"It worked out great," he said, with a smile.
Which wasn't visible, because hello? bag? yeah.

"Just wanted to thank you," he said.

He smiled. For a bit.

"You, um, get a break soon? Want to eat with me?"

Leo had left his shop closed that day for Veteran's Day, and decided to come out for a nice meal to celebrate.

"Oh that'd be great Man, thanks." he smiled at her. He was, as usual, in a very mellow mood, though a bit nostalgic.

Leo eyed her curiously as well. "I don't think so either. I'm Leo." He held out his hand.

Soup. John had mentioned soup over the phone, maybe that would help. It was an extremely pale and exhausted-looking Anemone that poked her head into Fina. "Naminé? Are you here?"

"Oh, hi Cassandra." Anemone managed a wan smile. "I didn't know you worked here. Or did I know and forgot? I don't know." she winced and rubbed the side of her face tiredly. "I was hoping someone could bribe the Cheese-grater into giving me some soup to take home, I don't feel like braving the cafeteria today."

"Okay." Anemone pushed off the wall, wobbling slightly as she followed Cassandra. "I thought about making my own, but I'm running low on cooking supplies and the Common Room is just too loud sometimes. I don't want loud, my head hurts."

I don't miss my math tests. I never missed my math tests. Missing them would imply I aimed at them in the first place. *innocents*

"Missing" doesn't apply when you target-shoot with nukes.
