Joanna abhorred the cold, so she had outdoor heaters placed throughout the entire course. She might have gone a little overboard. There was steam rising off all the water features.

Joanna is a bundle of expensive fur. Real fur. Many dead animals worth of soft white fuzziness.

Jack feels the need to be driving fast and getting nowhere in the vicinity of Joanna.

"Yes?" Joanna didn't look up from the magazine she was currently reading.

"I'd like some time ~~alone with you in about 20 years~~ on the go-karts, please."

"Have you cut that god awful hair yet?" She flipped the page.

"Yes, yes I did."

It's just a shorter version of the same thing.

Joanna glanced up. "Let me rephrase. Have you restyled that god awful hair yet? Obviously, not." Her face scrunched up in disgust.

"It's a good style. Manly style," he said, posing manfully, showing off his guns as best he could in the cold wearing a jacket.

"Stop preening. You look like a buffon." Joanna leaned back, allowing the fluffy white fur coat to open up and expose her ever-present cleavage. "How many rides would you like to take?"

"Five. I'll be too tired and cold for any more rides," he said, not leering at her. really. Okay, fine, he was.

Joanna slide over five tickets. "Only five? A boy as young as yourself out to have much better... stamina."

"True, but when you ride as hard as I do, you get chafed from the wind," he pointed out. "Doesn't that ever happen to you from riding too long?"

"No." Joanna started looking through her magazine again.

"Oh. Guess I just ride a lot." He shrugged.

Joanna snorted. "Next time bring a friend and maybe I'll let you ride once or twice for free."

"Hey, I'll try that!" he said, enthused. "Riding for free? That's great!"

His grin could light up Topeka.

Enjoy the sauna-like conditions.
