Fandom Post Office, Wednesday (12/12)

Beauty was surprised to find the post office devoid of golem and cat on her arrival, and spent some time searching around before coming to the conclusion that they really were gone. It was going to take some getting used to, being there entirely alone all day.

Maybe she'd see if Annette would loan out her kitten to keep Beauty company while she worked.

She's out for a stretch in the morning for class and errands, but otherwise happy to be of assistance.

When Beauty returned from her errands, she might find a milkshake waiting for her mysteriously on the counter, white chocolate raspberry and slightly melted because A.J. had really crappy timing.

Attached to it was a note, slightly damp from the sweating paper cut, that was decorated way too much in art-deco roses with the message I don't know if I ever got the chance to thank you for an amazing time this weekend, so....thank you.

Beauty was sorry to have missed A.J., but she was delighted with the treat, and with the slightly damp note. She read it over several times, smiling widely, and then very carefully tucked the note in with her classwork. And sat down behind the counter to enjoy her milkshake.
