Adam made it to Galactica Point, with a few minutes to spare. He managed to open up Wonders of the World and get situated before the place was set to open.

Joanna walked up to the ticket booth. She had an envelop in her hand.

"Hu-hum," she cleared her throat.

"Good morning, Ms. Stayton," Adam smiled warmly, slightly surprised to see her there.

"I have your end of the year bonus," she stated. "Just in case anyone asks, my accountant says we're calling it an educational scholarship. That makes it a tax write off."

She passed him the envelope. Inside Adam would find a card with very warm holiday wishes, obviously not written by Joanna, and a check for $2,500.

"Oh, thank you very much," Adam really didn't know what else to say. He was extremely grateful.

Accepting the envelope, he peeked inside and seeing the contents, couldn't help but smile. "Wow, that was very generous of you."
