The Arms Hotel Lobby, Monday [12/31]
Sometime early that morning, Gunther had gotten a call from Mary. She said she was feeling a little under the weather and needed him to cover her shift. Gunther didn't believe a word of it, since she was rather giggly and he could hear that banana stand guy in the background.
That was okay. Gunther did not mind the solitude of the lobby as he plotted against a boy and his dog. He was even kind enough to send room service up to Mary's suite with a bottle of sparkling grape juice.
