Jeff, God of Biscuits - Noon
Getting there a little early to see what they had today, Teddy was giving the little cakes longing looks.
So delicious.
He was already picking one out for Haku. Something with white frosting probably.
If Liir didn't show up soon, he was going to end up buying half the shop.
[[ooc: Open, but Teddy is there for a boy from Oz. And yes. I just HAD to say that]]

In case of what, who knew.
He peered past Teddy at the overly complicated cake (that reminded him of Glinda, really) before turning back to him.
"So."

"You'd probably be the best to pick. I wouldn't have the first idea."

Sugar, fat and cream. What wasn't to love?

"I'll have to see," he said mildly, still a little disturbed by all of this. He was pretty sure that Teddy was--
Well, a friend. If that was possible.

Speaking of which, the helpful
NPCcashier handed over the first few items Teddy had asked for. Which he promptly gave to Liir to see if you liked any.no subject
"Should we sit?"

"Less machines.
"I don't really have a home, and I don't know how I'd describe my world. There's the Quadling country to the South, which is mostly swamp. The Vinkus, where I used to live, is to the West and it's mostly grasslands. To the East is Munchkinland, which is just making it's way back as part of Oz after a secessionists movement."
By someone who might very well be my aunt.
"And Gilikin, farm country, to the North. In the center is the Emerald City, the capital where Lady Glinda rules for the moment, and just above that is Shiz, the great university."
He shook his head.
"There's not much else. There're deserts around the whole country cutting us off. If you believe the Lurlinists, then it was Lurline's wish that we be cut off from the rest of everything. I don't know if that's true."
A pause.
"And we have Animals, which are animals who can speak and think like humans do. The rest, I've heard of things, but I couldn't say if it's real. The Witch had magic, anyway, but... even that I couldn't say."

Hopefully no one would invade if they went. Because that wouldn't end well.
"Do you like it?" Teddy asked, nodding toward the muffin.

...later in his life, he might try alcohol and find that it has a profound effect on him even in small quantities. It seemed that the Universe, in Her supreme wisdom, had decided that this should be balanced with the sort of profound effect chocolate could produce.
As it was, the green eyes widened sharply before fluttering closed and a look like nothing that'd ever stolen across his features settled on his face.
He totally should have tried the little center sections in Miss Lulu's cookies. Totally. To. Tal. Ly.
