Well, now. This wasn't her usual day, but she was down two employees and a roommate, so she could come in whenever she felt like it. It was, after all, her store.

At least the roommate had left her the house. Well. Perhaps not intentionally, but it was hers now, so there.

She sighed as she posted the sign on the door once more:

Luckily she still had plenty of absinthe behind the counter.

He walked into the shop, a little bewildered at... well, all the choices. He just needed something for his class at the moment, but he didn't know if he'd be able to find it in all this

Well, then! Hello and welcome to Tink's Emporium of Utter Divariffic Fabulousness. Wasn't that a simply incredible name? She should have called it that, but Pixie Dust really seemed snappier. Maybe she'd start changing the name on a weekly basis. Zap! New sign! New name! It wasn't like she didn't have the money. And everything here was fabulous, and most of it was new. Such a shame more of it wasn't in her size, really. Only so far you could shrink things before they got weird.

Hello there! Welcome to Tink's House of Style. That was almost definitely the name she should have gone with, not that Emporium one. Maybe she'd just change the name on alternate weekdays? And ... these were clothes. Clothes, yes? Like the ones he was wearing? Had he really never seen clothes in a shop before?

If he was going to be another one of those customers that suddenly pulled that "I don't know what 'money' is" crap, she was going to be a very irate pixie, he should know.

Mary, who was used to having things altered, was in agreement. Except instead of shrinking, she often needed more space to accommodate her fabulous figure.

"A good friend of mine just survived his first day of teaching at the school and we're going out to celebrate. Do you have any suggestions?" asked Mary.

Tink always had suggestions. But really, she needed some information first. Out to celebrate somewhere fancy? Somewhere trendy? Somewhere casual? And was this a friend, or a 'friend'? Because the latter really required something tremendously low-cut so he could get an eyeful of those assets. Boys were stupid and needed reminders like that.

A uniform? Uniforms were so ... Tink shuddered. Uniforms could be chic, but they had to work harder at it, and she was not going to let him leave here looking like some boring chef. Chefs wore so much white. Don't get her wrong, he could get away with white, but who would want to?

Oh! Oh! Oh, he was here for a makeover! He had money and wanted her to make him pretty! She was so very good at that! And so few people had the sense to just ask her and instead wore whatever they found on their floor and he was in good hands, now. He should come right in and she would save him from the nightmare that was bad fashion sense. She was thinking a lot of green, here. He had very nice eyes and green would make them pop. Not literally, as that would be gross. Jeans? Did he own jeans? They could start at the beginning. Oh, this was going to be great fun, it was.

He was wearing a rather basic pair of breeches in brown and an off-white tunic shirt. She probably would have screamed in horror if she'd seen him before Millie fixed them; he'd been in rags, really.

"Just for the class," he said. "For Professor Lulu. I'll have enough money for proper clothes for other things when Millie pays me my first wages."

And because he didn't want to insult her since she was helping him--
