Pixie Dust, Wednesday
Well, now. This wasn't her usual day, but she was down two employees and a roommate, so she could come in whenever she felt like it. It was, after all, her store.
At least the roommate had left her the house. Well. Perhaps not intentionally, but it was hers now, so there.
She sighed as she posted the sign on the door once more:
ASSISTANCE WANTED
Employees Receive Employee Discount
Luckily she still had plenty of absinthe behind the counter.

Pixie Dust was open.

"A good friend of mine just survived his first day of teaching at the school and we're going out to celebrate. Do you have any suggestions?" asked Mary.

Re: Shop With Tink
If he was going to be another one of those customers that suddenly pulled that "I don't know what 'money' is" crap, she was going to be a very irate pixie, he should know.
Re: Shop With Tink
No, he had money. Lulu had given it to him.
Re: Shop With Tink
(OOC: it would've been okay if he didn't, she takes strange trades. She's just grumbling. Ray of sunshine, she is.)
Re: Shop With Tink
He shrugged.
"I'll take whatever you think is suitable."

Re: Shop With Tink
Yet a job -- a purpose, something to fill his empty hours -- had a certain appeal. Impulsive, he stopped into the first store that seemed to be seeking employees.
"Hello?" he called, as he turned slowly looking for a manager. "I come to ask about your sign."
If Tink was inclined to notice such things, she would have seen his t-shirt was Calvin Klein, the blazer and pants by Marc by Marc Jacobs, and the shoes vintage Pumas.
Re: Shop With Tink
Was he asking about her employment sign? Please say that he was, and he wanted to be fashionable and bitchy at customers. He would get a discount, and could have some of her absinthe! And if he didn't want to be bitchy, she'd waive that on account of hot.
Re: Shop With Tink
"Yea, assistance wanted," he clarified, then quickly took in the shelves nearest him before giving his version of a sales pitch. "They say clothes make the man, and I should like to be such a man as this shop could dress, and give others leave to do the same. And, as I have always had good clothes, I would be most suited to be at your assistance."
And he wanted some absinthe.
Re: Shop With Tink
Would he like to see the room in the back, where she burned things? Some things were far too hideous to even keep around while sending them back to the designer with a note that said EVEN CRACK WHORES THINK THIS IS POSSIBLY A LITTLE TACKY and so she burned them. And drank! Tink drank a lot. It was okay, she shared. Here! Absinthe!
Re: Shop With Tink
He took a sip of absinthe and immediately burst out laughing. "Whoooa."
Hey, he did grow up on the ocean in California.
