After Ethics, Wyatt went back up to his room and settled in front of his laptop. He made a new Yahoo id and logged into Literati. Once he located the lounge Isabel was in, he invited her to play against him.

As a general rule, Isabel usually avoided random invites. But hopefully this particular knight would be chivalrous. And she could kick his butt with a triple word score.

As luck would have it, Wyatt could spell a word with all seven of his letters, giving him bingo. He dragged the letters to the board.

His letters this turn were pretty lame. Working off the E in "pride," he added three letters.

He debated for a minute typing "a/s/l" to Isabel, but she'd probably just roll her eyes and leave the game. So he went for a slightly different approach.

Wyatt wondered if "Nyquil" would count as a word. He added the "q" and the "u" he had to the first "o" instead, then "i" and "n." Q U O I N

It was totally a word. He had checked a dictionary.

Xander was not a Pixie Dust kind of guy, usually -- he was more a Big and Tall Section of Wal-Mart kind of guy -- though he'd peeked in the window a few times.

When he noticed Isabel inside as he headed towards the Perk for some coffee, he decided he might as well venture in. Despite the fact that fashion might accidentally rub off on him.

If Isabel could read minds, she would have agreed with Xander. Although there were a few items in the men's department that she was pretty sure would look incredible on him.

"Xander! Just the person I was going to see when I was done here today," Isabel said, setting aside the computer. "How are you doing?"

"I could be less Bridgeless; that would make me happy." He had an inkling Anders had probably let her know at least some part of what was gong on, though he could be wrong.

"Bridge's been calling me every day," Xander answered, not sure he had a hard line on that question himself. "...Except for the night he got arrested."

"And you can put that on the list of things I never expected to hear," Isabel said, looking at Xander as if he'd just said Bridge had run naked through town. Actually after Sam, that would almost be more believable. "How? Why?"
