Chilly Boulder, Monday Afternoon [1.14]
It was Monday. Monday means it's time for ice cream.
Well, at least it does in Dōjima's little world. It doesn't matter if it snowed eighteen-zillion feet over the weekend, or if it's cold and cloudy outside. There, every day is a day for ice cream.
"So, what's good here?" she asked, gazing at the board. "This is awesome."
[ooc: for the elder-sibling, but available for any ice cream needs!]

flirtplace her order with the haplessNPCworker, she somehow talked her way into extra sprinkles and cherries. "Mmmm...comfort food. Nothing better!"no subject

She shook her head. "My boy was ... afflicted by whatever struck the male half of Fandom on Saturday, and was particularly insufferable for it. I was furious, and now he's grovelling, so I suppose we're all right. Which boy made you pancakes?"
no subject
"You mean he got hit with the bitchy disease too?" Dōjima wrinkled her nose in distaste. "I thought all the boys had gone mad! Well, crazier than normal, anyway. I got my pancakes on Sunday from a nice, sane boy. Well, he acted sane anyway. Michael? Hai, Michael. Cuuuuuute!"
"Make him grovel more, it's good for his character. Or something."
no subject
Naminé frowned slightly as she took a spoonful of her sundae. "He did. He harangued me about not appreciating his art, and dragged me into participating in one of his ... 'movies.' He'll be grovelling for a bit longer. I don't know if I know Michael, but if he's cute and willing to make you pancakes, that's a rather good sign."

Shovling another bite of ice cream into her mouth, Dōjima started waving her spoon again. "Ugh, you're dating a performance artist? No wonder he was awful. Some of them have the worst egos. That's why I don't date pop idols anymore."
no subject
She grimaced and shook her head slightly. "Performance artist, yes. He's a juggler and he directs on occasion and he's always somewhat inclined to the dramatic. Adding moodiness on top of that was ... unpleasant."
no subject
"Not that that's always a bad thing, sometimes it makes it easier to get what you want. While he's busy groveling, you ought to have him take you to a movie, or on a nice date, yeah?"

"What are you doing this week?" Setting her mouth in a determined line, she pulled out her planner from her purse. "We are going out, and showing him that you're cute and he should be grateful you put up with his antics. Any boy would be thrilled to have a girl as pretty as you on their arm."

She leaned over, curious. "I work at the Café tomorrow - you should stop in, the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake is downright sinful - and I've a class Wednesday morning and Friday morning. What about you?"
no subject
"Oh, cheesecake! I will totally stop in before my sneaky class!" Dōjima flipped through her little book, smiling. "I have class tomorrow, Wednesday, and Friday. Other than that, no plans!"
no subject
Her eyes danced at that.

"Shopping? Nah. I think I've terrorized most of the storekeepers on the island this week. If they see me coming, they might hide." Thinking...thinking...ah! "We could do lunch, or go out on Wednesday night!"

Naminé was somewhat of a novice at this "going out" thing.

Well, that had been the point of the party ...

"Naminé, I promise. I won't let you kiss any strange boys or girls. Only ones you know," she said seriously. "It's not smart to kiss strange boys."
