Fandom Post Office, Monday, 1/21
Fandom weirdness struck again. No matter, Annette woke up feeling pretty good. She had been a country singer and was completely respectable. Nothing happened for her to be ashamed of at all. That guy should feel like crap for nearly attacking her though. Whoever he was. And what about Dick? Was he really that smartassed guy in armor? Huh. Who knew.
She certainly didn't have a clue about that when she came into work this morning. She just began her day by straightening up the counters and then started dusting... stuff.
The Post Office is open.

Lying was pretty much the town pastime in Neptune. That's why they were so good at it.

Re: Talk to Annette
There was no way he was winning this argument, even if he did bring up the thousands of dollars of jewelry he had gotten her. She wanted some girly poet artist dude like AJ and that just wasn't him.
Dick sighed and shook his head. "Fine. I'm a lame boyfriend. You win."
Re: Talk to Annette
Those were for holidays! Dammit! And she couldn't have A.J. even if she wanted him and she didn't!
Annette sighed also and softened her expression. "This isn't about winning or losing anything, Dick. It's about being honest. If you can't be honest with me then there is no point to this relationship."
Re: Talk to Annette
What a dirty liar. Too bad he didn't realize he was just making it worse for himself when the inevitable happened and he was caught.
Re: Talk to Annette
Annette came around the counter and threw her arms around his neck. "I'm sorry," she mumured against his neck. "I trust you and I love you and I just have too much time to think. Forgive me?"
She was such a sucker.
Re: Talk to Annette
And he didn't feel the least bit guilty about this.
