"... and so Diane if you don't mind I'll just sum up my experiences this weekend by saying that first: flying under your own power is an wonderful experience and if you can somehow manage to swap bodies with someone I highly recommend it. Secondly, spandex is actually quite comfortable and I think everyone should start wearing a cape. And finally it's good to know that even when I'm not myself I still managed to stand up for the ideals of truth, justice and the Americay way. Now if you don't mind Diane, I'll be checking in on the prisoner who I ~~*handwavily*~~ incarcerated over the weekend. Hopefully he was just a result of the body swapping incident and really isn't the so-called Clown Prince of Crime."

Where Dale is mighty chipper about his weekend.

For formerly joker type person.

Luke woke up with a scream.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

He smacked his face with his hands. Great. Now he'd owe his father money as well as a phone call.

"Good afternoon," Dale said wandering back to the cell with a cup of coffee. "I'm Dale Cooper and I had the pleasure of apprehending you yesterday while I was wearing tights. May I ask your name please?"

Dale handing the cup of coffee through the bars.

"I'm Luke Skywalker," Luke replied, face beet red. "I don't normally spend my weekends kidnapping people."

"Well I don't spend a lot of time flying around the island wearing a cape," Dale replied with a little humor in his voice.

"Not that there would be anything wrong with it if you did," Luke said quickly.

"Relax son," Dale said with a reassuring grin. "I think we can get this matter cleared up pretty quickly. You do get one phone call."

"That's not exactly going to make things better," Luke said. "I need to call my father."

"Surely he'll understand that you weren't in control of your own actions," Dale replied as he handed the phone through the jail cell door.

Luke snorted. "Logic and Anakin Skywalker are passing acquaintances, if that," he replied.

"I'd be happy to explain that to him if you wish," Dale said with a sympathetic look.

Luke ran a hand through his hair. "It would've been better if I hadn't accidentally kidnapped someone who'd turned into my mother," he admitted.

~~Yeah. Okay kid. You're totally screwed.~~

"... Well, it wasn't really your mother, correct?"

"I'm sure that will make a difference," Luke said with much more confidence than he actually had. "I suppose I should make that call, huh?"

"Unless you'd rather stay here," Dale said with a small grin.

"It's not like he can cut off my hand or something," Luke said with a small smile.

He left off the "again."

"Give him a call. If he comes near your hand we'll throw him in the cell next to you," Dale replied.

Obviously he's never met Anakin.

After the call, a good portion of which Luke made while holding the receiver well away from his his ear, he turned back to Dale. "He's coming. Blond hair, swoopy robe, sour look on his face."

"I'll have the troopers send him back here when he arrives," Dale said taking the phone. "Do you need anything else?"

Luke decided asking for a final meal was overdramatic.

"I'm fine, thanks."

"Well if you change your mind let me know," Dale said as he headed back to his desk.

Anakin swept in a few moments later. "I'm here to pick up a miscreant."

Dale nodded as he led Anakin back to the cell. "You understand that he was not in control of the villain who was in his body, correct?"

Anakin nodded sharply. "He still managed to kidnap his mother. We're going to have a talk."

"He's also had a insane person in his head," Dale replied calmly as they reached the cells. "And it wasn't his fault that happened. However here he is..."

Luke smiled warily. "Hello, father."

Anakin reached out and grabbed Luke by the ear. "Home. Now."

I can't stand to fly
