The Arms Hotel Lobby, Wednesday

Hoshi disappeared into the kitchen the moment she got to the hotel. She was partly trying to hide and partly trying to cover for the fact that Gunther was still out front waiting for Bobby Flay to show up.

Welcome to the Arms Hotel!
Today's Specials
Hawaiian-style Poke
Kahlua Pig
Lomilomi Salmon
Henri sauce available upon request

[Please mod Gunther today, as Hoshi's replies may be few and far between.]

G'Kar was glad to see the young woman once again. He felt bad about not learning her name the first time. Also, he needed to check out of the hotel since he'd aquired an apartment yesterday afternoon.

"Good day," he greeted. "I seem to have made a terrible oversight during our last encounter. I never inquired what your name is. I am G'Kar."

He really needed to start paying attention to that radio thing. Perhaps once he actually aquired a radio. In the meantime, "Pleasure to meet you Hoshi. And I have no knowledge of what may or may not have been said, so I make no assumptions." Hopefully that'd make her a bit less skittish. "As much as I've enjoyed your fine hotel, I need to check out. I've aquired other lodgings."

G'Kar handed over the key and the necessary amount. He cocked an eyeridge slightly. "Word travels fast here. Ah, don't tell me," he stuck a finger in the air to forstall anything she might say, "the radio. And the squirrels."

Really, really needed to get one of those.

"I shall definitly have to tune in and listen." The flush of her cheeks hadn't escaped his notice. Especially when it increased further. "Is there something wrong, Hoshi? You seem flushed. Perhaps the room is too warm for you?"

Clearly, that wasn't the case. Especially not with that squeak. He leaned in a bit closer, lowering his voice an octave or two. "Are you certain? You seem a bit distraught over 'nothing'."

"Yet you seem to be placing a great deal of concern in it." Whatever *it* was. As much as G'Kar wanted to help her, he wasn't going to push and make her uncomfortable.

"Well, if *it* won't happen again, then it seems senseless to keep talking about it. However," he gave her a pointed look, "if ever you feel the need for a friendly chat, I'll be around."
