The coffee is brewed and there's three slices of cherry pie sitting in the refrigerator. Dale has already finished his paperwork for the day and is now reviewing the preliminary crime statistics for the first part of 2007 making notes of what he feel might be errors made in the various metrics used to make this report. In his spare time he'll forward the analysis to the FBI as he knows they always appreciate the input of a concerned citizen and fellow law enforcer.

Granted his report will be trashed as soon as it gets there but it is the principle of the thing.
