"Of course, right this way" Ami led him to the display. The candles came in all various colors, with little notes next to each color specifying what magics that color was good for. There were tapers and votives and various odd shapes as well.
He looked at them for a moment before finding just the one.
It was the color of the shirt Andrew had worn that one night, the one that brought out his eyes. It smelled sweet as well, a little like the soap from their laundry adventure.
Ami looked at the candle. "It is supposed to bring power to the one who burns it." she said with a glance at the card dangling from the candle. "It should be a very nice present."

"Uh, I was wondering if you could help me figure out what I could get someone as, er, a gift. From here."

"Aha. Well, uh," you're a girl "you work here. Can you think of something someone might like as a present?"

Ahem.
"I bought a crystal before," he said. "Or I almost did."
He'd have to ask Andrew about that. He'd forgotten until now.
"Anything else?"
Since if he wanted books, he could probably get them from his own workplace.

It was just right.

"That one."
He reached into his pocket and pulled out his new wallet.
"If you would?"
