All around town, Tuesday early-late afternoon

From a distance, it seemed as though a giant banana was wandering around town, passing out flyers for Bluth's Original Frozen Banana Stand. Upon closer inspection, one would see that it was a very unhappy Sky. In the banana costume, of course. Glad that he'd not shaved his beard yet, as it made him slightly less-recognizable.

"This has got to be some sort of cosmic punishment for staring at that poor red-haired guy last night," he grumbled to Edwina, who was flapping and waddling after him, squawking. He could have almost sworn she was laughing- if seagulls could laugh. "Or else maybe it's just my natural inclination to be obedient."

This could not be over soon enough.

[Very open if you want to bump into Sky. Yes, I am mean. Pings may be slow-to-nonexistent from around 1-6 PM EDT.]

On her way to seeing Jeff and looking a little bit like there were faint traces of pink glitter shining from her, it was hard for Turtle to not stop and briefly shake her head at Sky. "I do hope he's paying you a respectable amount," she commented.

Turtle offered him a sympathetic look. "I totally gave Apu a raise when he had to do this..." she noted, and then held out her hand. "Can I have one of the flyers?"

She, of course, had an interest in seeing how other businesses were advertising.

"Hmmm," Turtle, her nose wrinkling, studied the flyer for a long time with a thoughtful look on her face. Coupons like that were a pretty decent idea, nothing she'd really done before. Something to consider.

She nodded. "Thanks, Sky," she said, and then carefully folded the flyer up neatly until it was small enough to easily slip into the pocket of her jacket.

Turtle drew in a deep breath, putting her hands in her jacket pockets. "The hotel," she said, and then let out the breath in a long sigh. "I'm in the need for some major boyfriend therapy."

"Yeah," Turtle muttered. "Especially after you've been spending the past forever cleaning up stupid pink glitter..."

Not that she sounded bitter or anything. She sighed, heavily, again. If she kept on this route, Sky would turn out to be an unfortunate victim, kicked merely because he was there. As if being stuck in a banana suit wasn't enough.

"I should let you get back to work, Sky..."

That wheezy, whuffling noise coming from behind the trash can was probably a laugh.

Johnny was out riding his bike when he saw the banana guy. This? Totally was worth slowing down and staring at.

Smirking, he pulled over, cut the engine, and took off his helmet. "Hey! What you handing out there?"

Johnny glanced down at the flyer, then back at the banana dude. "Mr. Manager huh? Making you wear that..." he gestured at the suit. "...thing too?"

"Yeah, you're a better man than I," Johnny stated and shoved the flyer in his pocket. "Discounts you say? I've never been there but I might try it. All because of you." Yeah, he was giving the guy a smartass grin, because he was Johnny, and that's what Johnny did.

"A dose of humor on Fridays as well as today? Can't go wrong there, dude." Chuckling, Johnny put back on his helmet, winked at banana boy, and turned the key in his bike. "Catchya later!"
