Odd couple of days didn't even begin to cover it for Renee.

She sat at her desk, hunched over a keyboard and trying to find any information on Intergang she could.

Dale sat at his desk going over what appeared to be an old file with a lot of notes referring to Twin Peaks.

Occassionally he would glance over at Renee's desk with a concerned expression on his face.

Renee was careful to only glance back when Dale was occupied with the file. She bit her lip, about to say something for a moment before shaking her head and deciding it was for the best that he not get involved in any of this shit.

"Active case?" Dale asked quietly.

"Yeah." She glanced back toward him for a moment before clicking a link. "You?"

"Old one," Dale replied carefully. "My last one in Twin Peaks. I had to recreate it from memory. What's your case about?"

"Criminal enterprise smuggling weapons," She replied, equally as careful. "Someone from home asked me to look into it. I have the experience to pick up on a few things."

All were true.

There was a small pause before she replied. "Yes."

Renee sighed, looking down. Just tell him to fuck off and he'd go away.

"I don't think there's anything you can do. Unless you somehow have links to Intergang."
