Atlas Gym, Tuesday Morning
You know, when Deadpool started singing as he waited for the spar to begin, it really wasn't very odd.
He was all musical, you see.
But the being unable to stop and timing a few of the warm up moves in beat with the music? WEE BIT ODD.
I'm living on shattered faith
The kind that likes to restrict your breath
never been a better time than this
suffocate on eternal bliss
In a city
that swells with so much hate
you seem to rise above
and take its place
the heart pumps until it dies
drain the blood, the heart is wise
All my friends are murder
Hey, all my bones no marrows in
All these fiends want teenage meat
All my friends are murderers
Away....
I never met a pearl quite like you
who could shimmer and rot at the same time through
there's never been a better time than this
To bite the hand of the frost bitten eminence
All my friends are murder
Hey, all my bones no marrows in
All these fiends want teenage meat
All my friends are murderers
Away....away......away....
whoa whoa whoa whoa.....
I'm alive in uterine
a star in the dark a new day has dawned
open up and let it flow
I'll make it yours so here we go...
All my friends are murder
Hey, all my bones no marrows in
All these fiends want teenage meat
All my friends are murderers
Away hes gone away...
He blinked. "Can we pretend that didn't happen?"
[[OOC: the merc is there for someone, but the gym is very much of the open!]]

Which was all that needed to be said, really... he stretched out one of his arms, moved his neck around a little--
"She said: thanks but I'm broken
I guess... you must have misspoken."
He frowned, informing his body that you could not, in fact, make movements like that when you were on your own. (Moshing? The kids called it moshing) Then shook it off. Mostly.

Nathan Summers. Nathan Christopher Cable Soldier X Askani'Son Priscilla Summers WAS MOSHING.
Oh, you better believe Wade was snickering. "What a laugh, I've never been chosen by anyone--" He covered his own mouth, looking around warily.
no subject
"Time to--
She was barely a teen, hanging out in between
Just a part of the scene.
With mercurial smile and incurable style,
She was only a dream.."
Oh. Well. This was annoying. He tried a psi-scan, but that didn't seem to be helping the problem--
no subject
"Is it aliens? Musical aliens? Or maybe some craaaazy mutant power that makes us-- How's that
He didn't know a thing about --sing. GODDAMNIT--
Making love to the kind of girl you read about."
no subject
He was side-stepping unconsciously.
no subject
"Probably just some wacky-- My Daddy bet... that I'd amount to nothing-- Fandom weirdness. And thanks for that fun bit of daddy issues, weirdness, thanks a bunch," He muttered, arms over his chest.
no subject
Nate pursed his lips, as if to intimidate the music into going away. "He won't let anybody show him anything..."
Yes. The issues were out in full force today.
"Let's just--I was a troubled child,
Had been down for a while,
Always kept to myself-- start."
no subject
You only wanted a friend
Now you've made something else
It's so sad no one saw it coming
The paper said that you hit the ground running!"
A beat. "WHY AM I THE WOMAN?!" That got him to try and smack Nate. Because it was all his fault.
no subject
Ah. He caught the smack with the side of his arm, then punched at Wade's head. It started, apparently.
"Oh yeah," he sang under his breath, all the while, "I know I'm not broken, a little cracked, but still I'm not broken--"
no subject
Shaking his head, Wade spun for a quick roundhouse. "But still I'm not broken
I wanna laugh but I think that I'm choking on reality-- does that mean the whole fourth wall thing? Because that kinda makes sense..."
no subject
no subject
"Don't turn on me
Who are you here to repair
Well I don't know what you mean
You could never resist
Glorifying despair
Well now it's coming to you and I don't really care-- Yeah, let's stick with not analyzing the lyrics," Wade replied going down and going to sweep Nate's legs as soon as he hit the mats.
no subject
"Well, I'm not the kind to insist..."
Nate fell back deliberately, controlling his fall, landing on one hand-- enough for a kick of his own.
"You couldn't have missed, we must co-exist--
So please listen to me: there is no such thing as human debris."
Oh, that one was all him.
no subject
I know I'm not broken
A little cracked--" Wade let himself fall to the side to miss the kick. Most of it, at least. Owie. "Can't we sing stuff from musicals instead?" He asked from his back, kicking up to nail a certain messiah in the groin if he wasn't fast enough. "But dad I'm not so nothing
I wanna laugh
I'm not joking..."
no subject
"I said I'm unbroken, a little cracked-- it's just a token--"
no subject
"I'm really not broken
What a guess I'm unbroken..." And he was wrong. And upset.
"Damn music!" He grumbled, flipping up onto his feet again. "Next time, I pick the song!"
no subject
no subject
"You need to know this situation's getting old
And now the more you talk
The less I can take, oh."
no subject
Ohkay.
"Don’t know where it goes, but it's home to me and I walk alone."
Which just made him think of Rachel.
no subject
"Today is gonna be the day
That they're gonna throw it back to you."
no subject
no subject
"I don't even think we're singing the same song anymore..." He shrugged, bouncing from one foot to the other before it hit again. "By now you should've somehow
Realized what you gotta do."
no subject
no subject
Feels the way I do about you now-- What the hell does that mean?!"
no subject
His torso dodged backwards; his leg kicked out. "My shadow's the only one that walks beside me, my shallow heart's the only thing that's beating-- Definitely-- Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me-- a bad one--
'Til then I walk alone."
