The Park, Wednesday (before sunset)
So there were snow giraffes falling from the sky. John looked up at the clouds, "Right, because this is normal." As he walked through the park, he really didn't think he'd ever get over the sight.
And then one got stuck in his hair. John tried to shake it out, but the giraffe had been impaled by a spike and was slowly melting to death in what sounded like quiet agony.
John wasn't very fond of this week.
[he's just walking through the park, feel free to marvel with him at the snow giraffes!]

He grinned. "It looks lonely," he said, as he tossed the half-melted giraffe he was holding right at John's face.

He didn't know if that counted as starting a snowball...giraffeball fight or not.

Of course, he was bending over to scoop up a few more.

He grimaced and tossed the giraffes at John.

He caught a couple more giraffes as they bounced off his head and leapt forward, trying to smash them in John's hair.

"No using my hair to kill giraffes!"

Giraffes. It was snowing giraffes. "What the heck?" Spotting John, he noted the giraffe stuck in his hair and just shook his head. "Okay, I know Fandom is a magnet for weird stuff but this? Is just too odd."
Seriously. Sight of the giraffe melting? Was slightly unnerving.

Now, he'd seen everything.

They melted, but that did not dissuade her from her quest. She giggled as one landed on her nose. "Ooh! Tickly melting giraffe!"

As such, bunny strapped to his chest (asleep), he made his way through the park with the cloak Karal had given him over his shoulders to ward off the, er, giraffes.
"That really is rather disturbing," he said absently as one of then screeched itself into a puddle.

He smiled at John.
"How was Mexico? I'm sorry we couldn't come. Andrew is somewhat... indisposed, after all."

"He's been turned into a bunny for almost a week now. I've been taking care of him since I found him in his room like this."
Beat.
"I promise I didn't do it. I've been assured it just sort of happens around here."

He felt a few giraffes tumble down his back and tried to ignore them melting. It wasn't anything he wanted to consider closely.
"He's also been getting carrots and cilantro and all sorts of other good things."

"Thank you for the offer, but it's fine. I'm happy to take care of him and I'm familiar enough with caring for animals that it's nothing I'm troubled by. Though... if you'd like to spend time with him, that's a different matter and you've been his friend longer than I've been with him. So if you'd like him for a bit, you can."
Though it was obvious that he didn't really want to give Andrew up. He was, in fact, being selfish.
