Three sparkleballs were floating toward the causeway Friday afternoon, having received word from Dr. Manx that they were needed back at S.P.D. to test a method to change them back to normal.

Fortunately for them... or perhaps unfortunately... Fandom had other plans.

As they neared the causeway to meet their shuttle, there was a loud CRACK... and suddenly, three very confused and very naked S.P.D. Cadets lay sprawled on the ground. With a popping noise, a communicator fell down near Sky's left hand. There were several long moments of stunned silence; Sky, for his part, was struggling to not look at his teammates as he finally seized the communicator, screwed his eyes shut, and rang Kat. He was trying very hard not to growl as Cruger was wont to do- his voice came out rather flat and emotionless.

"Ah... Cadet Tate to Delta Base."

"What is it, Sky?" came Kat's concerned voice. "Is something the matter?"

"We... don't need the shuttle any more. We changed back," he explained.

"Wha- you changed back?!" Kat repeated, her voice a mixture of delight and shock. "How did it happen? Are all of you alright- in one piece?"

"Yes," said Sky. "We're all here. Just stark naked."

"... Come again?"

"We're all naked," Sky repeated. "And in public."

The three decided to split up for their journeys back, figuring they'd attract much less attention that way. Sky's strategy was to be stealthy- hiding as best he could behind trash cans, poles, anything that would even slightly hide his 6-foot-tall naked frame. Unfortunately, this also meant he made very slow progress so he wouldn't be seen.

If he'd stopped to think about it, he'd probably be pretty angry. But he put all of his attention to getting back to his room and getting some clothes on first.

Hoshi was taking Porthos for his walk when she spotted Sky. "Are you in that class too?" she asked, thinking back to last semester.

Sky had heard of that class, too, and shook his head. He was currently hidden behind a trash can.

"No," he sighed. "Long story short, my teammates and I've spent the week as sparkling balls of light. We were headed home to see if they could change us back, when we all suddenly were ourselves again... just nude."

"Oh, that doesn't sound good," said Hoshi. "I have a jacket. It's probably going to be too small for you, but it might help."

Meanwhile, Porthos was sneaking around the trash can, eager to meet someone new.

"I appreciate the thought," said Sky, trying to smile slightly. "Anything to cover myself would be appreciated. Besides the dust bunnies." He had, of course, noticed the hopping multicolored bunnies, but their tendency to explode did make them poor choices to cover his modesty. "Of course, it had to happen right at the opposite end of the island to where my clothes are, too." He looked down at Porthos, unable to resist offering a hand for the dog to sniff, his smile becoming genuine now.

Porthos wagged his tail. He was hoping the stranger had a treat, but he didn't quite recognize that the stranger had no pockets.

Hoshi slipped off her pink jacket and handed it to Sky. "I always bring an extra layer when I go for a walk. Last semester, my clothes snagged on a branch in the park and ripped, and I ended up streaking back to the dorms. At least it got me an A in Barney's class."

"Thank you," said Sky, taking it and covering himself as best he could. "I'll wash it and bring it back to you later this evening. And I'm really glad to know I'm not the only person who's been stuck like this before," he added. "It makes me feel a lot better."

"It's no problem. I'm glad I could help you out," said Hoshi. "Although if I were you, I would see about getting an automatic A if you're taking Barney's class this semester. Last semester, he gave out A's to everyone who went streaking and got mentioned on the radio. It can't hurt to try."

"Well, I'm not, unfortunately," said Sky, actually glad that he was not, as he wasn't sure he'd like a class where streaking got an automatic A. "But the advice is appreciated, anyway."

Okay, this is... he'd had to run around in nothing but his underwear, a couple summers ago. This isn't *that* different. Really. He could do this. It'd be fiiiiine.

Bridge takes off with the intention of heading to the Apartments rather than the dorms, since hey, it's closer, and also probably Xander wouldn't laugh at him.

Well, okay, Xander would laugh. But he'd also let him inside the apartment and that's the important part.

Of course, he still has to actually *make* it there.

Ronan was on his way to the Perk when he spotted a somewhat familiar form.

Only somewhat, because he'd never seen said form unclothed before.

"... Bridge?"

"Hi Ronan!" Bridge squeaks.

"... I'm a little afraid to ask," Ronan said, "but... why are you running through the town naked?"

"It's not by choice!" Bridge yelps. "Not even for a grade or anything! There was a thing, we were little balls of sparkly light, and then we weren't, except now we don't have *clothes*..."

Ronan blinked. "... Well," he said, "that's not the weirdest thing I've heard in Fandom..."

... He took a moment to take the opportunity to covertly appreciate his friend. "Balls of sparkly light? Really?"

"Yes reall- hey!" Bridge frowns. "No looking!"

Ronan swiftly averted his eyes. "Oh, sorry," he said. "But, uh, take it as a compliment?"

"Uh," Bridge says, because the concept of anyone not-Xander being, well, appreciative is just... weird, to him. "Right. Okay. Bye!" And he's off again.

JUST BECAUSE I WANTED ONE.

We decided to make separate threads for each character because it would get very messy very quickly otherwise.
