Town Hall, Wednesday Afternoon

When she was done at the radio station, Zoe left handwavey messages for Hades, Harriet, Fraser, D'Argo, and Roy, and headed to the town hall to meet them all there. She still had the letters with her, and hoped that everyone would arrive soon.

[For those who got the calls!]

Roy had heard the radio and gotten the message when he showed up at the Town hall - it wasn't like it was far from the station. And now he was really wishing that he'd been worrying about Aly for nothing.

"Principal Washburn," he greeted, his expression grim. "What's the word?"

Angels are doin it for themselves.
Standin on their own two feet.
And ringin on their own bells.
Angels are doin it for themselves.

Fraser found his way to town hall with two dogs this time. Dief, who was right on his heel and Peanut who he was carrying as the little dog wouldn't let him leave the apartment without crying.

"Good afternoon," he greeted those who were assembled, nodding.

Come on Angelica, come on Angelori,
Let's go to the past, you won't be sorry
Put on your old, dirty robes
And your cool summer weight PI chapeaus
In the past, having fun is what it's all aboot

"Didn't we say something about needing to stop meeting like this?" Roy wondered, sparing a glance at the dogs.

Indeed. Now we will be here forever!

"Sheriff," Fraser said, holding out a hand instinctively. "And yes, I believe we did. Of course, things have a habit of not working out how we'd planned."

"Something like that," he said and laughed. "This is one of Robin's dogs. There are four more at home. Just be glad I didn't bring them all with me like I did yesterday. How are you?"

He took the letters from her curiously, reading through the top one before browsing through the rest. He paused at one in particular, his expression darkening.

"Definitely not good," he grumbled, almost wanting to hold on to that one, but he hand the pile back to Zoe. "I've never read anything in the old reports about these angels before."

"No, that would be too easy, I suppose," Roy said, shaking Fraser's hand.

"Indeed." Fraser nodded. "How are you faring with this?"

"I'll tell you when we get everyone back here in one piece," Roy replied with a grimace. "Sometimes I wish this island cared more about science."

"Mmm." Fraser nodded and looked around the room. "Are there plans for the town since the statues seem to be contained to that area?"

"Not worked out yet," Roy replied. "I came over as soon as I got the message from principal Washburn so there wasn't a whole lot time to talk with Cooper yet. I was hoping to have more information on what we're dealing with so we'd know how to proceed. Making sure people stay away from those angel... things seems the first step right now."

"Agreed," Fraser said. "I might suggest quarantining the dormitories but I doubt that will be met with much support considering the students that attend the school. I just hope...everyone who was taken is all right. Physically. Mentally."

When D'Argo arrived, he might have been muttering something like "It's always something."

"No, it isn't," he agreed, frowning slightly, "but they don't kill. What's the point of sending someone back into the past?"
