The causeway - Monday - O Dark Thirty AM

After all that had happened the week before, those who were awake to see it would have groaned as a light appeared in the sky over Fandom. It had the shape of a pair of angel wings inside a giant alchemical circle and hovered there a moment, thundering slightly, before the center slowly dropped towards the ground like oil being poured in water.

It's passengers were left on the cold stones of the causeway in a heap.

Fai landed with a thump on something relatively soft, with Mokona dropping down into his arms.

"Ah! Mokona!" Fai hugged the little white creature cheerfully. "Is it just us? Where are Syaoran-kun, Sakura-chan, and Kuro-rin?"

Kurogane was that something relatively soft that they landed on and he wasn't overly thrilled about the position, or the positioning.

"Get off me," he grumbled.

"Kuro-tan~!" Fai exclaimed, climbing to his feet and looking down at the ninja. "When did you get there?" Glancing around them, the blond frowned slightly. "...I wonder if Syaoran-kun and Sakura-chan are just a little bit away..."

"Mokona can't sense Syaoran or Sakura here at all," Mokona said mournefully. "Maybe they're on another world!"

"..." Fai's eyebrows went up, and he looked back at Kurogane. "Well, Kuro-puu? What do you suggest?"

Kurogane stood up slowly and brushed himself off before looking around with a frown. "The kid will keep them safe and out of trouble, we've been seperated before and they've been all right," he reasoned and gave Fai a penatrating look.

The exit from the last world hadn't exactly been smooth.

"Yeah, Syaoran-kun will protect the Princess. Still..." Fai shrugged. "Well, at least we have Mokona." The creature in question jumped over to hug Kurogane.

"We should find somewhere to stay while we're here," the blond magician commented. "I wonder what kind of world this is?"

The taller man ducked down to try to miss the rabbit like creature, but sadly it clung to him and wasn't going to let go.

"Who knows," Kurogane said and shrugged, he was rather used to the bastardization of his name and the clingyness of Mokona. "It seems normal enough."
