Book Haven - Friday - 3/21 - 10am to 5pm

Liir was a little late to work, mostly because he hadn't slept very well. Part of that had been the pounding headache right behind his eyes most of last night (and into today, unfortunately) and part had been that Andrew's tik tok baby (which still put the heebs in his jeebs) had woken up a few times in the night.

As such, while his grooming was impeccable, Liir looked a little rough as he straightened the store, put out the cookies and the drinks, and placed the platter of Millie's lunch under the counter for her. His eyes were darker than usual, his skin was paler than usual, and he kept finding his teeth grinding without his say so which didn't help the headache.

It was going to be a long day, but the Book Haven was open.

He didn't pick a book today. Instead, he had with him a notebook, a pen, and a letter. He hated doing this, but he was quite sure this was the only chance he'd have for peace what with the bloody tik tok in their room.

And he had to write a letter back to Shell...
