Café Fina, Tuesday

It was, Naminé thought, exceptionally nice to have her old job back. And the singing plates and the cheese-grater seemed more thrilled than ever. Viva Fina!

Having been "supervising" a few things in the kitchen, Fai made his way out to where Naminé was drawing.

"Thank you for coming in today," he said with a smile, patting Mokona's head. "We're thinking of doing some kind of grand opening special next week. The plates wanted to make up a new dance number for it."

"It's lovely to be back," Naminé smiled. "And the plates will use any excuse to make a new dance number. I suspect they've been rehearsing all this time, in the hopes someone would open sooner or later."

"They're very energetic." Fai glanced over his shoulder toward the kitchen. "I think they frighten Kuro-pon." He paused, thinking. "Have you met Kuro-rin yet? Tall, dark, kinda grumpy?" Fai gestured with his hands to indicate what he meant, his expression a comical mimicry of Kurogane's usual frown.

"Kuro-rin?" Naminé asked. "No, I'm afraid I haven't. I've been out here chatting with the plates all morning."

"Kuro-rin, Kuro-tan, Kuro-wanwan..." Fai rattled off a list of pet-names. "I'm sure he'll be around sometime. He's my partner here, so I know you'll meet him eventually."
