Bluth's Original Frozen Banana Stand, Sunday, 3/30

George Michael usually didn't open the stand on Sunday but after handwavily noticing more kids in the area, he thought opening the stand might be a good thing.

It's just... he wasn't exactly sure how to deal with kids. Couldn't be hard, right? Chuckling nervously, he started getting everything ready, ignoring Eddie who was a squawking mess. Apparently George Michael threw off his week by opening today. Guess Eddie would have to deal.

[OOC: Weetinies can pester at will!]

After pestering Lt. Kerrigan at the Perk which is still in progress, la, Sky toddled over to the banana stand next. He now had his "helmet" under one arm, and had unzipped his wee S.P.D. jacket.

"Hi Mr. Manager!" he said cheerfully. "Hi Eddie!"

SCRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! SQUARK SQUAAAARRRRK, Eddie replied.

"Funny birdie," Sky chuckled.

"You're my boss, a'course I know you," said Sky. "I wear a banana suit for you every Friday and everything!"

Sky pouted, setting down his helmet and pulling a toy S.P.D. badge out of his wee jacket pocket, flipping it open to show his adult self's picture and name.

"Noooo, I'm Sky! I can't be my own daddy. Look, I have my S.P.D. badge an' everything! A lot of my friends are little like I am, too. It's a lotta fun!"

"Thanks," said Sky, grinning and picking his helmet back up, happy that Mr. Manager understood. "I'm... uhm, uhm, 5. Yeah! Not old like Troy still is."

"Cookies are yummy!" Sky agreed, then frowned. "But Lt. Kerrigan told me I'm not s'posed to eat anything with sugar in it." He then perked up again. "Troy's my boyfriend," he corrected happily, completely unaware of how awkward that may have sounded. "I went by his room yesterday and he was still oooold."

Sky pouted again. Here his obedient nature was coming into conflict- a teacher had told him no sugar, and here, his boss was telling him it was okay. What to do?

"Lt. Kerrigan is nice," he finally said. "But I guess as long as she doesn't know I had any sugar, it'll be OK if I have some, right?" He then nodded to the question. "Uh-huh! I used t'be old. And I will be again, I hope."

"Yeah!" said Sky happily. "I had lotsa sugar yesterday, anyway. I think Lt. Kerrigan was just sleey- she had a biiiiiig cup of coffee." He then nodded gravely. "I wouldn' wanna miss work! No way."

"Yay!" said Sky, clapping his hands. "You're so nice, Mr. Manager."

Eddie squawked a few times in response.

"Eddie thinks so, too!"

Sky stood on tiptoe to peer at Eddie, then stuck his tongue out at the seagull.

"Eddie's strange every day," he declared.

"Ewwwww!" said Sky, taking a step back. "Nasty Eddie isn' gonna get my tongue, then!" He made a weetiny force field, but it quickly vanished.

"I like bananas, too," said Sky perkily. "But I already had breakfast."

There was a little girl walking a puppy. Or maybe it was a puppy walking a little girl. Either way, Hoshi found herself at the banana stand after Porthos spotted some birds and decided to chase them, dragging Hoshi along for the ride.

Hoshi smiled shyly but didn't say anything. It usually took a little while before she felt comfortable talking.

Porthos, meanwhile, was barking at Eddie.

"Silly bird," pronounced Hoshi.

Porthos finally stopped barked. He went and sat down next to Hoshi, keeping an eye on Eddie.

Hoshi nodded yes. She was hungry, and the cookies she found in her room hadn't been very filling.

Nuts? She nodded yes. That sounded good.

"Hoshi," she said tentatively.

A small banana would definitely be more than enough for little Hoshi. "Thank you," she said softly as she took her banana.
