He had also prompted the cheese grater to write a new sign to put under the "Open" sign:

Ino was feeling better after talking to Cable and was really really on her way to go and see A.J. but the sign said free candy and the mun is a pushover so she wandered in.

"Aww...I'm sorry there was a mean lady. If you ask Kuro-tan over there, he'd be happy to give you candy to help you feel better." Fai tilted his head to the side, still smiling. "You can call me Fai. What is your name?"

"Chocolate for breakfast? Well, that sounds tasty." Fai laughed, leaning back to tip his chair on its back legs. "Nice to meet you, Ino-chan. Have you been at Fandom very long?"

"Ah, I see." Fai nodded, putting all four chair legs down again. "I understand what you mean, actually. Sometimes it's hard to tell, with different times in different worlds. Do you like it here, though?"

Ino was mostly confused 'cause she had been, she knew that because she had friends and brothers and even Kabuto and his cooties, but at the same time Daddy was just supposed to start letting her grow her hair soon and start teaching her how to do the family jutsu.

But she smiled and nodded. "Yes! Everyone but mean lady," clearly, "is very nice. And I've got lots of friends! We had a sleepover last night!"

"That's wonderful. I'm so glad to hear that you're having a good time." Fai resisted the urge to pat Ino's head. She reminded him somewhat of Sakura, in a vague way. He did miss Sakura and Syaoran...

Annette was going to have a total mess to clean up when she stopped being weetiny.
