Savannah had paperwork strewn all over the counter.

Don't try and figure out how much of it might actually be related to the store.

She wondered if she could get her brother's store to help sponsor the fashion show...

...she could always just volunteer him, right?

There were also other notes written, but since they were in a mixture of Japanese and Latin, they likely wouldn;t make much sense to anyone but Savannah.

Sean was back in the office, dealing with his own paperwork. Deciding he needed a break, he poked his head out into the store. "Oh, we are not playing Dueling Paperwork again, kid," he said, trying to figure out what the hell was spread all over the front counter. "You always end up winning."

"Mmm? Oh, Benecio says you're helping me learn the darker sorcerer spells."

"Nice of Benicio to just randomly decide that," he said wryly, pushing away from the wall and wheeling his desk chair closer to Savannah.

"I asked him for the spells."

"How'd I end up in the equation?" Not that he was upset. He just wanted to know how much flailing he needed to do.

"He asked if you'd work on them with me."

"And you said of course I would." He tilted his head and looked at her. "So. When are you going to have the spells and when do you want to start working?"

"I should get them by the weekend."

"Then that's when we'll start." He frowned thoughtfully. "I'm thinking we should practice someplace that isn't around a whole lot of people -- just to be on the safe side. Some of the spells can be rather disastrous if they go wrong."

"Good." He smiled faintly. "I probably should find someplace to practice, too. I haven't been doing nearly as much as I could've been."

He eyed the mess of papers warily. "And what is all this, anyway?"
