The Perk, Sunday early evening
Sky realized he was getting very behind in sending his reports to Command, but didn't feel like staying in his room, so he decided to go to the Perk for a while. Armed with a cup of tea and his laptop, he chose a table near the window and sat down. A lot had happened since the last one he'd written... so much had changed. Fingers clicking on the keys, he typed up facts, names, events in his usual concise and clear manner, but somehow he felt detached from it all- as though the Sky who wrote these reports was another person, a side of himself he'd begun to forget about on occasion. He still cared about doing well in S.P.D., yes, still wanted to be the Red Ranger- but he'd found other things to make his life feel worthwhile in his own mind, too.
When he'd first come to Fandom, he thought that the end could not come soon enough. Now that graduation was staring him in the face, though, more and more he was realizing he really didn't want to leave so soon. He wasn't sure what was coming after he graduated, but no matter what, his stay here felt far too short now.
But he could definitely enjoy the time he had left here, however long it was.
He could do that.
