Café Fina, Tuesday

There was nothing quite so reassuring as the beaming face of the cheese-grater, smiling at Naminé as she opened Café Fina.

Specials, hmm. Naminé was tempted to do another board full of pontifications about art, but had no idea what the current owners might think of that.

So instead:

TODAY'S SPECIAL
Tie-Dyed Cheesecake

That seemed artistic enough. Café Fina was open.

Kurogane walked into the cafe after being handwavily out exploring the island. He spotted Naminé immediately and his eyes narrowed. "Who the hell are you?"

Kurogane raised an eyebrow back. "Then I suppose your pleasure will be further dimmed when I tell you that it's your pleasure to work for me," he grunted and moved out of the doorway. "I'm the new owner."

The tall man moved past her and behind the counter to get himself a drink. "You weren't here last week," he stated.

"Other Kuro? I'm Kurogane," He blinked and sat down. "And Sorry Kid, it's just me, the flatware, the white pork bun and the ditzy mage, who don't tell me jack, or even what a phone is."

He wasn't mad or anything, he was just being himself. Kurogane was sadly like this with most new things. swhy we can't buy him new toys.

Kurogane resisted face palming. "You obviously spoke to Fai. He... likes to mutalate my name into weird.... things," he said disgustedly and looked around the shop.

"I don't know what Mokona is. Some sorta of magical animal thing," he shrugged. "Just as annoying as the mage."

Kurogane nodded with a smirk, looking over at Naminé. She reminded him slightly of the Princess, just... less brainless.

"Just don't call me what he calls me and we'll call it fair," he nodded. "Yeah, Mokona's... unique," he said politely. "But you get used to them."

As if to speak of the devil there was the white pork bun jumping onto Kurogane's head. "Wai wai wai! Kuro-pii's back Wai wai!!"

"HIIIIIIIIIIII~~~♪" Mokona sang seeing Naminé. "Was Kuro-puu being mean to you!?!?! Kuro-daddy can be so grouchy!!" It asked looking all concerned.

"Hey!" Kurogane glared. "STOP CALLING ME THAT!" He shouted and grabbed at Mokona's ears.

"KYAAAAA!! Naminé save Mokona!!"

"Huh?" Kurogane blinked and looked over at Naminé. "This? It doens't hurt it," he shrugged, but let go of Mokona who bounced back to itsself like it was made of elastic.

That would at least explain the bouncing maybe.

Mokona bounced over to Naminé. "Mokona is fine!! See!!"
