Book Haven - 4/11 - Friday
Liir was testing his device today, until he could find Bridge of course for them to switch inventions.
He made it to the book store on time, put out the rest of the chili off to the side from the tea and biscuits, and neatened up the store before opening up. Then he settled behind the counter with a book on hand crafts to evaluate for the store.

Buy a Book/Talk to Liir
Re: Buy a Book/Talk to Liir
"Hey," he said with a goofy grin.
Re: Buy a Book/Talk to Liir
He closed the book and greeted Andrew with a smile.
"Well, hello. To what do I owe the pleasure?"

Re: Buy a Book/Talk to Liir
"You do," he said as he leaned back. "And I'm sure it's fine. What kind of sandwiches did you make? Not with the chocolate, right?"
He laughed.
"Then again, I can't talk as the chili had chocolate in it. A mole twist, anyway."
Re: Buy a Book/Talk to Liir
"And there are some chips." Turning the bag over and shaking it produced two snack sized bag of plain potato chips.
Re: Buy a Book/Talk to Liir
"Thank you, Andrew," he said with a nod as he walked over to the table to make a bit of quick iced tea for them Which was literally some of the tea with an ice cube and some sugar (as well as a bit of cold water) added. He returned with two cups of it and put them in front of Andrew.
"Drinks," he announced.
Re: Buy a Book/Talk to Liir
"I put mustard on the sandwiches," he added. "That's how I made them as a kid."
Re: Buy a Book/Talk to Liir
The shakes, obviously, were for dessert. Or so he thought.

"How goes your invention?"
Honestly, he'd spent most of yesterday evening inside his own head working on his self-training before passing out. Andrew could have pulled a horse from out of his ear and he might not have noticed.

"Bridge! I was hoping you'd come by," he said as he closed his book.

"How have you been otherwise? You're welcome to some tea, cookies, or, er, well, there's chili as well if you'd like."
Re: Buy a Book/Talk to Liir
"Cookies are awesome," Bridge says. "And I've been... really really great. This Sunday is, well. Xander and I will have been together for a whole year." And right on cue, there's that dorky 'talking about Xander' smile, the one that lights up his whole face.
Re: Buy a Book/Talk to Liir
"That's wonderful. And the cookies are over there, on that table," and he pointed them out.
Re: Buy a Book/Talk to Liir
"I brought my project," he says, holding up the sunglasses.
Re: Buy a Book/Talk to Liir
It was a copper ball with a pinprick hole on one side and a crystal panel in the back that would rest flat against the skin. The chain that held it was a simple and economical.
"Mine's here," he said, holding it out.
His other hand went out for the glasses.
Re: Buy a Book/Talk to Liir
"So um," he asks, turning the ball over in his hand to examine it. "Do I need to um- turn it on or anything? Or what do I do?"
