Theodoric of York, Saturday afternoon, 4/12

Annette was pampering herself today. Just because.

She had her nails done, her toes done, soaked in a hot tub, had a massage, and was currently resting while her feet were being rubbed with some minty lotion that felt incredible. Yes, she giggled every now and then because her feet were terribly sensitive. But, such was the price for beauty.

Afterwards, she just might have to go shopping. When she was thoughtful, as she was, she needed to fill that void with something to do. And since she had her daddy's credit card, she was going to go shopping and buy a whole new summer wardrobe. It was very much needed.

Yes, she was relaxing. And it was nice.

[Establishy, although Theodoric's is certainly open for anyone wishing to take advantage of the services it provides.]

There was a black bear in Theodoric's. It was getting its nails done. Mauling and destroying was good and all, but sometimes a bear just wanted to feel pretty.

The bear held its paw up and looked. Annette was right. It was a pretty color. "GROWL," the bear said, thanking Annette for the compliment.

The bear waved that suggestion off with a grunt. Solid colors were the fashion in the zoos these days. It might consider getting a tattoo of a flower on its lower back, though.

The bear looked curious, as if it might consider subscribing to Annette's newsletter. She had never seen another bear with highlights before. She'd be the talk of the zoo!

Wait, they were abandoning the zoo to cause mayhem. She'd be the talk of the bear camp set up in the middle of chaos! She growled happily.

The bear opened its mouth. Its breath smelled of fish and rabbit.

The bear growled at Annette. No matter how much it appreciated cross-species girltalk, it couldn't abide by intolerance towards its naturalistic lifestyle.
