Cafe Fina - Saturday 4/12

Fai was in a very cheery mood. Not that this was abnormal. Still, he seemed to be even more cheery than usual, occasionally joining in on the impromptu dance numbers with the kitchen staff.

It totally didn't matter that he didn't speak French.

Today's Special

The "Now Hiring!" sign was also prominently displayed.

The bear was huuuuuungry, but she was in a fight with the stupid bears that went into the stupid pizza parlor.

So this would have to do.

She waved her sword in the air and growled.

That should get someone's attention, right?

Kurogane was coming down the stairs from the apartment just as the bear walked in.

"What the hell," he frowned and crossed his arms.

The bear smiled its best smile.

Or showed a lot of teeth.

It was kind of hard to tell the difference.

"Nice sword," Kurogane commented.

Hey, it wasn't destroying anything yet.

The bear waved it proudly. Her uncle Nern had made it for her!

"That answers the question of if you can talk," he said with another frown. "Otherwise I'd ask what you wanted."

The bear roared.

Fish would be nice.

With fava beans and a nice chardonnay. Everyone knew that a chianti would overwhelm the flavor.

The bear might've watched too much Food Network while they were plotting their takeover.

Mokona peered out warily from behind the counter where he was cowering. "Kuro-waaan," it sniffled. "The bear says it wants fish and we don't have any."

Kurogane looked between the bear and Mokona and sighed. "You heard the... thing. We don't have fish."

The bear who had always been a grizzly, shhh, plopped down in the middle of the floor and roared its displeasure.

Kurogane was unimpressed, but he was also used to fighting demons and monsters.

"Get angry all you want, there still won't be any fish if you don't want anything else then leave."

Nope, the bear was totally having a one-bear sit-in.

She began moving back and forth and growling out "Kumbaya."

Kurogane glanced at Mokona.

"What is it doing?"

Mokona tilted it's head at the bear and then smiled brightly moving over to sit next to it and swaying. "Kumbaya~~!!"

Kurogane face palmed.

It was probably a good thing no one sane would give a bear a lighter because she'd totally be waving it as she sang.

Growled.

Whichever.

Kurogane glared at Fai and pointed at him with a shout. "You're not helping!!"
