It was an oddly distracted Cassandra who trudged over to the specials board today. Instead of her usual trip to the kitchen to discuss dessert options, she wrote the day's special in careful letters.

Today's Special
White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Then she sat down with a plate of said cheesecake and a cup of tea. Both of them went untouched.
