Since she usually didn't have anything to do Friday night except go to the bar and bother Jolee with her apparent ability to bring other people in, Charlotte certainly had no qualms about picking up Eve's shift tonight for the prom. Far be it from her, after all, to insist that a girl miss one of the most important nights of a young girl's life. Besides, with so many of the kids at the dance, she could predict a nice quiet evening.

You know, a nice quiet evening of sitting in front of the computer appearing to work on booking the next exhibit to replace the current one when, really, she was looking through pretty prom dresses online and sighing wistfully in remembrance of hers. She had been queen and everything, after all, so the sighs were particularly wistful.

Charlotte had to admit; the dresses now were so much prettier than some of the monstrosities worn back in her prom days.
