J,GoB, Saturday Morning
Steve stood in front of the pastry case, contemplating breakfast and sipping a cup of coffee that seemed to be blessedly caffeinated. He'd just about decided on a danish, and was thinking that today ought to be nicely quiet after all the hustle of prom yesterday.
Steve was such an optimist sometimes.
((For Steve's little surprises, but open for all your pastry needs!))

Steve had a few words for this situation, all of them learned either growing up in the slums or during his stint in the actual army, but he was Captain America and Captain America didn't talk that way. "I...live here." The light went on. "Did your daddy ever tell you about alternate universes?"

"I see," he said, amused. "And you?" he asked the little blond guy on his leg. "Stevie, right?"

Took...his breath...
There was something there, but some part of his mind was insisting he not touch it, and he'd learned to trust that little voice. He could deal with that later, when he didn't have kids. "Your mommy is really pretty," he agreed, "but Sarah's mommy is really pretty, too," and he wondered if he could get the story of how he wound up with a kid with both of them. He wasn't about to leave someone with a kid, and he wasn't about to cheat, so...
"You must be hungry, huh? I was just about to get something to eat. What do you two want for breakfast?"
