The Cafe was surprisingly quiet.

Mostly because the singing tableware had been challenged: instead of the usual song-and-dance numbers, they were performing a pantomime. It had been Fai's idea.

So enthused were they on the new show, that the specials board was completely ignored. The "Now Hiring!" sign, however, was still prominently displayed.

Mary boggled for a moment at the rabbit looking creature as she was seated. She ordered a white wine while she waited nervously for her son.

Billy froze in the doorway when he saw who was here. "Mom? Mom!" He barely kept himself from running to greet her.

"Billy!" Mary was less concerned about decorum, and leaped from her seat. She threw her arms around him, hugging him tightly. "Oh Billy I'm so proud of you."

Yeah....so....I almost forgot to post this?

Mostly because yesterday was an exercise in HATE. The power company that serves our new apartment SUCKS, and shut us off without warning...

...Though that meant we went out and got to see Iron Man, which completely made up for it with the SHEER AWESOMENESS. I want to see it again now...mmmm. Robert Downey, Jr. is made of win.

Should have power today when I get home!! If not...heads will roll!!!!!
