Atlas Gym, Tuesday Afternoon

Stretching up onto his toes, Deadpool bounced a few times. Stretching, you see, was very much like breakfast and was also the most important thing of the day. Fight.

Thing.

Whatever.

(Someday my narrative will make sense... someday...)

[[For fighting of perhaps two small teenage girls!-- not at the same time, though. But open for your gym needs.]]

One teenage girl, all unsuspecting of his presence inside wandered down to the gym in an attempt to find some place to practice that wasn't the preserve, or well, the dorm gym.

Or something.

Either way, her mood--which had been fairly good thanks to yesterday's shopping trip--plummeted abruptly when she saw him. "Oh," Ino said, "you."

Yeah. Total lack of enthusiasm there.
intraspective: (are you sure?)

"Whatever," Ino said, with a roll of her eyes. "Just go back to doing whatever."

While she seriously considered just turning around and leaving.

“Because I totally enjoyed being knocked unconscious by you? Whatever.” Ino scowled at him. “It was important, and I do so think about the consequences.”

Just... not so much in that case. Whatever.
intraspective: (Crossed the line?)

[personal profile] intraspective 2008-05-06 04:41 pm (UTC)(link)
She hated him right then and there. Yes.

"Worst-case, really, would've been horribly painful death."

Ino had known that much at least. She just... hadn't cared.
intraspective: (huh?)

...

...

Ino just sort of blinked at him.

She hadn't thought of that.

Ino’s lack of thinking about that, really, came more from her figuring that between Deadpool-san and Yondaime-sama that pretty much anything could be handled.

“I might have benefited from it, and I did,” whatever, “but I severely doubt I matter enough in your opinion that you’d’ve bothered if Yondaime-sama wasn’t there. So I don’t believe that you did it for me.”
intraspective: (Back turned)

[personal profile] intraspective 2008-05-06 05:37 pm (UTC)(link)
They were so not on the same page here. Seriously not.

"Yondaime-sama didn't want me," she said sharply, "he just didn't argue with me about it. Not the same thing. And I'm saying that the only reason you even bothered with behaving wasn't 'cause of me, but because he was there. I just benefited as well."

Physical exercise helped directing thoughts into useful matters. It also provided distraction. River entered the gym quietly, paused for a moment in the middle of the room and then launched herself into a fast, fluid sequence of kicks and punches. The opponent was nonexistant, which was perhaps a good thing.

[and I will be torn away from the computer soon, woe. SP yay?]

[identity profile] moonbrain-tam.livejournal.com 2008-05-06 04:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Applauds? River stopped and looked over her shoulder at Deadpool, not sure if that was a good or bad thing.

"X-23?" It didn't make sense to River. "Can do it with knives too, but they're not allowed here."

[identity profile] moonbrain-tam.livejournal.com 2008-05-06 04:28 pm (UTC)(link)
"Use them as wall decorations instead," River said. "Trophies. Defended friends from reavers." Yes, she was still proud of that.

"Insane cannibals set on eating, raping and murdering innocents," River clarified.

[identity profile] moonbrain-tam.livejournal.com 2008-05-06 04:37 pm (UTC)(link)
River shrugged. "Not if you're not planning to eat, rape and murder people."

[and now I disappear]
