Café Fina, Thursday [May 8]

Cassandra was quiet as she walked into the cafe today. Of course she was usually quiet so this didn't come as a shock to anyone. Today, though, the quiet was caused by a sense of distraction. Cassandra was thinking over the past two semesters. People she'd met, things she'd learned.

She was distracted enough that she sat down with a steaming cup of tea and forgot to put anything on the specials board. She was busy trying to take stock of her situation.

[There will be a block of time this afternoon where I'm at work, so potential sp warnings apply.]

Jack slipped in, quietly, for some food. It's possible that Cass would have to come right up to him for him to notice.

Ordinarily, Jack would kick himself for missing the attention of someone he was friends with, especially if it were a Cassandra-shaped person. Today? Not so much. He's busy missing a little green felt guy.

Jack would totally give her flowers or something for letting him be in his own little world at the moment. IF the boy had a clue that he was being left alone, that is. Poor Jack. He needs more understanding friends like Cassandra.
