The Arms Hotel Lobby, Saturday [5/10]
There were tiny tortoises all over the lobby today. Mary kind of stared at them for a while, until she realized that Gunther was rounding them up for something bad. "No!" she squealed. "Gunther, they're probably protected by environmental laws. You can't cook them!"

[The hotel's info post is over here, if you're not familiar with it. Basically, you don't have to be staying here to take advantage of the room service menu during business hours. You do need to be a guest to use the in-room amenities.]

He scanned the lobby for a brief second then leaned in a bit. "Say...you don't happen to still have that crazy chef workin' here do ya? German, I think?"

"Nietzsche would not be pleased by that," he remarked dryly. "Good for you for puttin' a stop to it." He picked up the key and smiled. "Thanks! I'll make sure to give a good tip. Y'all have got good service here. I remember." He tapped the side of his head with a finger.
