Temari looked at the movie, wondering what the hell it was about. Better not be some sappy drama or she'd have to hit her date.

And take the candy back.

"Tah-dah!" Jamie said gesturing to the theater. "It's a movie! Too bad it's not meta for Steel Magnolias. You seem like the chick flick type."

Temari stared at him for a moment, reaching over to smack him upside the head like a stupid little academy student.

But chuckled anyway.

"What is this movie about?" It didn't look like a romantic movie or an Icha Icha one either...

"It's a Jackie Chan movie," said a voice coming from behind Temari.

Which was actually Jamie's voice... and really just a duplicate that appeared when Temari smacked his head.

"Martial arts movie," Jamie clarified as he absorbed the duplicate. "With a little slapstick worked in. I thought some random violence might be your thing."

That was... different. Didn't even see his hands move for the seals.

"Martial arts. Smarter and smarter, huh?"

"Well I'm not a complete moron," Jamie said imitating Temari a little and a little disappointed his duplicating routine didn't have its normal effect. Usually newbies flipped out a little more than that. "And as a bonus? There's more sweet stuff at the food counter."

Maybe later she'd ask.

Temari grinned slightly at that. "You buy."

Jamie rolled his eyes in amusement as he opened the door. "Sure. I see how it is. One box of junior mints and now you're the boss of me."

Keeping a watchful eye on him, she walked in. "I wasn't before?"

Jamie gave her an amused look. "News to me," he said trying to hide a grin. "So what... I'm supposed to do everything you tell me?"

"Do you have a problem with that?" Temari asked, smirking and pausing to move into his space again.

"Lucky for you I'm attracted to women who threaten me on a regular basis and most likely can kick my butt," Jamie answered with a grin.

And also moved closer to Temari.

"Doesn't scare me a bit."

That was a new one.

Temari smirked, putting an arm around him to goose him just once. "Good. Hard to find a guy who isn't intimidated."

Jamie jumped a little at that and gave Temari an incredulous look.

"Cheeky little devil, isn't she?" came the voice of the duplicate coming from behind her. "Are we going to kiss her now or are you just going to keep that stupid look on your face?"

Jamie glared at his duplicate and absorbed him quickly. "Sorry. They tend to get a bit mouthy at the wrong time."

"Well, are you?" She asked, watching the clone's arrival and leaving with interest.

"Am I what?" Jamie said looking briefly confused before he realized what she was asking. "Oh. That. Well... aren't you the boss?"

Smirking, Temari groped him again as she pressed in for a kiss.

"Now. More of that chocolate?"

Jamie should have seen the kiss coming. Probably even the grope too, but somehow he was still a little surprised when it did.

"Right," Jamie said trying to clear his head from the kiss. "Chocolate. Right over here. You want more junior mints or something else. Without shrimp."

"I like the junior mints," Temari said, following along with him casually. "But trying something else would be nice too."

"Well..." Jamie said, "We can get more mints along with something else. Do you like Raisins? Or caramel? Maybe a crispy wafer?"

"Like a cookie but-"

Jamie halted in his explanation. "You know what? Let's just go for a variety of candy for you to try. If that's okay with you. Boss."

The boss made her smile almost. She'd claim it was a smirk. "Alright then."

"Careful," Jamie said before telling the girl at the counter what candy to get. "You almost smiled."

Looking away as she smirked, Temari let him take control of this part.

She needed to learn more about this place and the small parts of the culture. That was all.

"I'll try to remember not to next time," She said dryly. Almost teasing.

"Sure. You do that," Jamie said as he rolled his eyes in amusement and tossed her a king size Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. "You don't have any peanut allergies do you?"
