Our Lady of Fandom, Monday

Gabriel was back. So was Cat. Not that their disapparance had been noted much, they assumed, but the church was now well stocked with instant coffee, donuts and tins of tuna. Everyone seemed pleased.

[The church is open]

Early in the morning, he stepped into the church. Of course he had food for the gentleman and the cat in one hand but oddly enough, but it wasn't his reason for being here.

...it did smell good, though.

He wasn't aware of the new stock, but he could always bring it back with him.

He sat at the back pew and closed his eyes.

He opened his eyes.

"Thank you, but I think I might bounce. Literally."

Then he thought again as he stood.

"Maybe a donut."

He caught it from the air. Despite other areas where he lacked, he was familiar enough with things being tossed at him. And even how to catch the thing.

"Thank you," he said, walking over to drop off the bag of chicken curry with rice for twolegger and cat.

He smiled, took an encouraging bite of the donut, and nodded in thanks again.

Then he took his leave and retreated to the back of the church to sit.

He needed to think and this was one of the clearest places to do that right now.
