And so he's nibbling on gumdrops and jellybeans as he does some more work on the wormhole-detector.

After getting a handwavey call from Bridge telling her to stop by, Isabel made her way to the store, gathering a handful of Jolly Ranchers along the way.

"You rang?"

"Hey, Isabel!" Bridge looks up as she enters the store, pushing his glasses up so they're resting on top of his head. "I did! I'm all finished with those phones you wanted."

"So you've once again proven your awesomeness," she grinned. "Thank you!"

"I do try," Bridge grins back, pulling them out from behind the counter.

"And succeed," Isabel replied, leaning against the counter. "So what sort of bells and whistles do they have?" It's a Bridge creation. There had to be something.

"Well, the battery's not going to die- unless you plan on living for a couple of centuries, then there might be a problem. Multidimensional contact, of course, so you don't need to worry about being separated by time and dimensions. Yours? Also has chocolate-covered Tabasco candies," Bridge grins. "I figure Wyatt wouldn't really be interested in that particular flavour combination, so he got gummi bears."

"I'll have to make sure not to get them confused," she laughed. "Because getting spicy stuff when you're expecting gummi bears? Not so much fun. But this is great. Thank you so much."

"You're welcome," Bridge says. "Just make sure you get good use out of them and call me a lot."

"Program your number in there and I will," Isabel promised. "And Xander's too."

Stepping out from the back room, Tony looked out the windows for a moment before grabbing a few pieces of metal.

And then stopped before returning.

"Candy?"

"Better than pudding," Bridge points out.

That got a slight pause.

"...pudding?"

"Yep," Bridge says, most of his concentration still on the wormhole detecting device he's working on. "My first summer here, it rained pudding once. I was a ferret at the..." finished, he looks up. With his attention no longer occupied by something else, he can see- "Did you know you're glowing?" Well, more than last time, at any rate.

Tony looked down at his chest. Nope, it was covered.

"Did you eat the candy from outside?" He asked slowly.

Bridge glances at the small pile of gumdrops on the counter next to him. "Yes?" he's really not sure what that has to do with anything.

Tony just eyed them. "Try not to hit things that hit the ground."

"Ew," Bridge wrinkles his nose. "No, I eat the ones I manage to catch." Seriously, the glowing was incredibly distracting. The guy was putting off something like- well, it was hard to tell, with the gloves still on, but well beyond even megajoules, he was sure.

Xander figures turnabout is fair play, for all the times Bridge has stopped by his office with coffee, so....

So he brought hot chocolate. And doughnuts. And a hat full of jujubes. He didn't actually have to buy those.

"Hey!" Bridge smiles brightly. "Ooh, lunch."

"Uh huh, and I brought food, too!" Hey, it could be a new nickname.

"That's just what I said," Bridge points out.

"I meant I'm also delicious and satisfying, but here, have some jujubes."

"True," Bridge grins. "But I'm not sure Mr. Stark's shop is the place for that."

"Thus the doughnuts!"
