Liir was utterly unaware of any kind of strangeness that might be associated with the day. After all, Fifthday the Thirteenth kind of lacks the same panache.

He was, however, mildly annoyed over something else completely, even if he did his best not to show it as he smartened up the shop, put out the cookies, and opened the door for customers. His choice of reading hopefully wouldn't put anyone off.

The Book Haven was open.
