The Boards - Tuesday - 6/17
Today, Geoffrey had pulled out the costume rack (...the single. rack.) and his box of props. Both were utterly moddable. As people walked in, he directed them to the front.
"All right, everybody, here's what we're going to do here."
He pointed one hand at the box and the other at the rack.
"This is a box of props. And this are some costume pieces. I'm sure you're familiar enough with the idea of costumes and props and everything, standard theatre fare, but as we haven't actually had a production yet and the people from Visa are hunting me down as we speak, this is what we've got.
"Pick one prop and one or two costume pieces that you want for your character. Don't worry about what I'll think about it, don't even think about what fits. Just feel it. Slip into your character's shoes and pick something that you want to use on the stage. Something you want to look at or monologue to or even just... sit on. It's entirely up to you.
"Then I want you to sit in a circle up here on the stage and we'll discuss what you picked as well as a few other things like schedules and performances because we're getting close to that time. All right?"
[ocd up!]

Sit and Discuss
Re: Sit and Discuss
She was actually feeling pretty for someone who was a queen bitch. Probably Tamora felt the same way.
Re: Sit and Discuss
"Interesting, Amber. Fitting."
Re: Sit and Discuss
"I thought so. Dressed like this, is it hard to believe she is wicked?"

He couldn't help a bit of a stupid grin; with the laurels, he couldn't help but hear Desdemona's voice in his head, touting about some Greek god, Mana!, although probably a pretty doofy looking one.
Re: Sit and Discuss
The question was more than just to Cal.
Re: Sit and Discuss
Cal's nod almost threatened to dislodge of his laurels.

"This theatre isn't for making money. I mean, I'd like a little help so maybe I could get myself a bed or something but it's not for money. It's not about money. So if you guys want to do one performance only, make a real bang out of it, play your hearts out on one shot... it's good with me.
"If you're looking for some dress rehearsals and a couple weeks of shows on a few days each week, I'm good with that too.
"It is well and truly up to you folks. I'm just the director here."
He grinned, slipped the razor out of his mouth, and tapped it on the side of his hand thoughtfully.

Blinking back her surprise, she said, "I don't know about anyone else, but I know I would like to do more than one show."

Off Stage
Re: Off Stage
If she was to play a goth queen, she needed to look the part. Maybe she should go by Pixie Dust if she couldn't find anything here.
OOC
Dear ground meat in my lunch, it's totally not you. It's me. And thankfully, I'm hungry.
