The Arms Hotel Lobby, Friday

River had arrived at the hotel this morning in a good mood. The towel animal zoo quickly got rearranged and animals in need of it got refolded. The fruit bowl got filled up with oranges, with creatively arranged bananas on top. Now River sat behind the desk, back straight, eagerly awaiting visitors.

Mary was in a little bit of a panic (http://montecito-east.livejournal.com/34421.html) when she ran through the lobby with her bag. "Here," she said, slamming the key to her presidential suite on the front desk. "This place is haunted! I'm going to go stay with my boyfriend where I feel safe."

"Yes, ghosts. Real ones hanging out above my bed watching me sleep!" said Mary. She was genuinely freaked out, but any excuse to get out of Fandom for a weekend and visit George Michael worked.
