Caritas - Friday evening [Open]
To be perfectly honest, Jolee was getting sick of all the undead posturing on his stage. The Zombie Band and the BANDages were groaning at each other throughout the act now, focusing more on bickering and less on playing music. He was just about to do something about it when the door to the bar opened.
Wearing jeans, leather jackets, and no shirts, a group of hair metal wolfmen walked over to the bar and presented their card.
"Steppenwerewolf?" Jolee read. "Let me guess, you want to perform, too?"
"AROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" the lead wolfman responded.
"Fine. I'm tired of those guys acting up anyway," Jolee said. "You on stage! You're getting the night off! Take some time and figure out how to act like adult dead people."
The zombies and mummies turned to Jolee. Then they turned to Steppenwerewolf. Then they made terribly rude gestures at the wolfmen, suggesting that they were sons of bitches. The werewolves ignored the terribly clever joke and leaped at the stage.
It was time for a MONSTER MASH.
It would have been a graveyard smash had it lasted more than two seconds. As the wolfmen attempted to claw and bite and the mummies swung their arms to bludgeon and strangle with wrappings, they were all transported out of the bar in several flashes of light. Only the zombies - apparently by benefit of being at the back of the stage and having terrible reaction time and thus not actually managing to attempt a single attack among them - were left.
"Well, the job's yours, I guess," Jolee said. The zombies immediately started playing 'We Are the Champions.' "I'm done with this for tonight," Jolee told Tino before retiring to his apartment above the bar.
As for the BANDages and Steppenwerewolf? Maybe they landed in the ocean. Maybe they landed on Madagascar. Maybe the weakening barrier between Fandom and the Underworld dropped them into Tartarus. There was really no way of knowing. All that was known was that they would never manage to return to Fandom. But really, that was probably best for everyone.
