Caritas [Thursday evening]

All things considered, Robin was still a little sore from the weekend. The downside was that she couldn't drink (or, well, she really shouldn't because she'd get Disapproving Looks.) The bright side was that she was on painkillers still, so she really didn't care.

[things are going to be kind of slow for me for a few hours -- we're interviewing new roommates. mod Tino for speedy service!]

Juli, not in the mood for coffee, slipped into the bar instead. Obtaining a lime martini from Tino, she settled in to relax.

Johnny glanced at her empty class and ordered the same from Tino. "Do you care to hear it or am I just wasting my breath here?"

She ordered another drink. "Johnny," she said softly. "No matter what you think of me, I have always cared about what you have to say."

As soon as she got off work, Eve made a beeline for Caritas, looking around for Savannah at the bar.

Wait. What if she hadn't heard radio? Johnny would be owning up to checking Faith out, for nothing.

"No matter what I think of you? What's that supposed to mean?"

She was playing with her glass. "I know about last night," she said quietly, staring into the glass that Tino had given her. "The fucking squirrels know everything."

There were some grumblings from Tino but as there was also a drink being poured and set in front of her? She so didn't care.

"Okay, we've got booze. So now we talk." Eve frowned. "This plan works so much better when there's something to talk about." Because really, she wasn't trying to make Savannah dwell.

He ran a hand back through his hair and then downed the shot Tino placed in front of him. "Destiny misses you. Figured you could come by and take her for a run tomorrow, if you've time."
