The Boards - Tuesday - 7/1
He'd put out the make up kits he'd bought with a brand new credit card and waited for everyone to come in.
"All right, folks. Today, we get to learn how to apply stage makeup. Girl, guy, straight, bi, gay, flesh, or, uh, not, stage make up is necessary for any performance. You might think you look perfectly fine up there on the stage, but once you're up there and the lights are on and the rest of the place is dark, it's a heck of a different story.
"After that, we're going to do some work on making sure you project without, you know, shouting. It doesn't matter how good your performance is if they can't tell what the hell you're saying."

Re: Make up!
"Not the intention. The point of stage makeup, unless you're trying for something specific, is just to enhance what's there so it isn't blanched out by the stage lights.
"Nothing's going to make you look like a human any more than you already do. But you don't have to. You're fine as you are."

"Maybe some eyeliner? So they don't just look like glowing spots in all that white."
