Geoffrey had unlocked the door and was, at the moment, trying to make sure he could buy food for the week.

Food that specifically wasn't cup noodles.

...ahh, the glamorous life of the theatre.

[ooc: Geoffrey will only be available until 3ish EST as I'm going to be heading out on a trip. The Boards can be open all day as people would like to use the space, but any Geoffrey thread will go into SP as said. More details in an availability post that will go up later in the day]

"Mr. Tennant." G'Kar had found Geoffrey just by wandering around the theatre a bit. "I'd like to apologize for my lack of participation on Tuesday. I wasn't quite my normal self."

He blinked.

"...'meow'?"

If G'kar hadn't been the cat, they could dismiss that as Mr. Tennant being insane.

"Yes. That was me. I am still uncertain what caused the change. I had been in that form since last Thursday until yesterday."

"Hopefully, it will not be happening again anytime soon."

"As long as it doesn't happen on a performance night, we're fine.

"Did you watch what was going on with the others? And how's your projection? Any history of public speaking?"

He grinned at that. "Certainly not. And yes; I did watch."

"I have quite a bit of experience at public speaking. I used to be an Ambassador and Diplomat. It rather goes with the job," he smirked.

"Then we've just got the makeup to work on."

He considered G'kar.

"I don't suppose you have any experience in that one, do you?"

"Not so much, no." G'Kar had never done anything with makeup his entire life.

Geoffrey breathed in deep.

"Well, there's a first time for everything. We should be able to get the color right, though all the spots might be a bit of a problem."

"There is at that. And speaking of 'first times', would a spotted Titus be so adverse?"

G'Kar was just a little particular over his spots.

"No," he said slowly, "I'm just thinking that with the stage make up on them, it might end up looking like a splotchy mottled mess.

"I'll tell you the same thing I told Gladys: I didn't cast you with the intent to make you look like something you're not."

"Thank you," he bowed slightly. "I am certain that literature surpasses any physical disparities one may have. As long as the audience sees the character, the appearance of the actor should make little impact."

Whether they had make-up on or not, and less than fancy props or stage settings, G'Kar believed that they could still put on a stunning performace based purely on the actors' skills.
